Dates have been announced for regions to implement NDIS.
The full rollout dates are being announced rapidly as Malcolm Turnball makes the NDIS a priority in his duties as Prime Minister. Details of the rollout can be found on http://www.ndis.gov.au/about-us/our-sites.
New South Wales has been at the forefront with Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia not far behind and if the activities of disability service providers in the South West of Sydney are any indication the ramp up will be manic.
In December it was announced that the South Australian Government signed their agreement with the Commonwealth and agreed the timetable for the full rollout of the NDIS around the state and just the week before Tasmania announced their NDIS plan, detailing the rollout for people in that state.
We are getting close to all States and Territories having announced a timetable which is really exciting because it means thousands of people with disability finally have some certainty about when the NDIS is coming to them.
